Guidelines

Safety for both people and dogs is of primary importance at Pheasants On The Ledge. To ensure a safe and successful outing, please observe the following rules.

Eye and ear protection is mandatory for everyone in the field or on the clays course.

No alcohol is allowed before shooting/hunting or outside the clubhouse.

Sportsmanlike conduct is expected at all times.

Hunters

• Register in the club house prior to entering the field and after leaving the field.
• Keep dogs in your vehicle until you reach the field.
• Steel shot is encouraged. Shot size larger than 6 shot is prohibited.
• Confine your efforts to your assigned field.
• A blaze orange hat is required. Additional orange clothing is recommended.

Clay Shooters

• Stay on the path and shoot only from within the shooting stands.
• Load only 2 shells in your gun after entering the shooting stand.
• When outside the shooting stand, keep your gun's action open and clear.

Violations of safety or conduct will result in the loss of privileges and fees.

Pheasants On The Ledge reserves the right to cancel any event due to unsafe conditions.
